Lord Ganesha narrates how Lord Vishnu sent a gift through Narad Muni for Parvati before the arrival of the wedding procession of Lord Shiva accompanied by his followers and other gods.

Continuing with the story, Lord Ganesha narrates how Himavan was happy but Maina was apprehensive when the 'Saptarishis' brought Lord Shiva's marriage proposal for Parvati.

Lord Ganesha reveals how Lord Shiva approached Parvati amid her penance in the form of a sage and asked her to marry him. He adds that the sage asked Parvati to forget Lord Shiva for making her suffer.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya narrate how all the gods were worried as Lord Shiva did not react to Parvati's ongoing severe penance. They add how Lord Shiva decided to put Parvati through yet another test.

Lord Ganesha narrates how Parvati observed a severe penance in the form of Goddess Brahmacharini to unite with Lord Shiva. He adds that when Tarakasura sent his asuras to attack her, Goddess Laxmi and Goddess Saraswati came to her aid.

Lord Ganesha narrates how Parvati decided to observe a penance to unite with Lord Shiva. He also reveals how she remained engrossed in the penance despite facing several obstacles.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya reveal that Lord Shiva approached Parvati and her family in the form of a woman and introduced himself as Kantha, an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu.

Continuing with the story, Lord Ganesha narrates how Lord Shiva announced that Parvati must go through a test to marry him and conveyed the same to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi.

Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi approach Lord Shiva with an offer to get him married to Parvati, the daughter of Himavan. However, Lord Shiva refuses the proposal, much to their dismay.

Fuming with anger, Lord Shiva reduces Kaam Deva to ashes and walks away. Later, Parvati has flashbacks of her past life and recollects that she is Goddess Adishakti.

While Kaam Deva shoots his arrow towards Lord Shiva, the latter opens his eyes and finds Parvati standing right in front of him, after which he is reminded of Sati. Suddenly, he is hit by Kaam Deva's arrow and chaos ensues in the universe.

As per Indra's orders, Kaam Deva proceeds towards the cave to bring Lord Shiva out of his meditative state. Meanwhile, Kaam Deva's wife Rati fears the possible effects of Lord Shiva's wrath on her husband.

While Parvati keeps serving Lord Shiva during his meditation, both do not even look at each other for several days. This makes Indra anxious and he enlists the help of Kaam Deva, the Cupid god, to draw Lord Shiva closer to Parvati.

Lord Ganesha narrates how Lord Shiva and Parvati came face-to-face but did not look at each other. He adds that Lord Shiva hesitated at first but eventually allowed to let Parvati serve him, and the gods expected them to unite soon.

Lord Ganesha continues with the story and reveals how Himavan decided to take Parvati to serve Lord Shiva, who was meditating in a cave. He also narrates how all the gods eagerly waited for Parvati and Lord Shiva to come face-to-face.

Lord Ganesha mentions Goddess Brahmacharini, who is worshipped on the second day of Navratri. He also talks about the Tarakasura's repeated attacks on Goddess Parvati, also known as Goddess Shailputri, during her growing years.

Lord Ganesha narrates how Tarakasura got scared for his life and planned to kill Maina and her daughter with the help of his accomplice.

King Divodasa and Sarla discover how Narad Muni provoked Tarakasura by sharing the news of Goddess Adishakti's anticipated rebirth as the daughter of Maina and Himavan.

Continuing with the story, Lord Ganesha mentions how Goddess Adishakti was pleased with the prayers of Maina and Himavan. He also narrates how she indirectly forewarned Tarakasura about his impending doom.

Lord Ganesha mentions how Vajrang's son Tarakasura wreaked havoc in the universe after acquiring a boon from Lord Brahma. He also narrates the story of Daksha's granddaughters, Maina, Dhanya and Kalawati.

In order to explain the reason for the birth of Goddess Shailputri, Lord Ganesha narrates the story of Sage Kashyap's son Vajrang, who wanted to establish his rule over the universe.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya narrate the story of Sati's death and its impact on Lord Shiva to King Divodasa and Sarla. Through his story, Lord Ganesha tries to indicate that separation of Lord Shiva from his wife causes an imbalance in the universe.

In the form of Gunesh and Kritesh respectively, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya narrate the story of Goddess Shailputri to King Divodasa and Sarla on the first day of Navratri.

Posing as Gunesh, Lord Ganesha predicts that King Divodasa won't live for more than ten days and convinces him to fast for nine days for Navratri with him. Meanwhile, the Goddess of Vedas suffers in the captivity of Durgamasur.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya come up with a plan to facilitate Lord Shiva's entry into Kashi so that he can unite with Goddess Parvati and she can eventually kill Durgamasur.

After misleading the gods during a fight, Durgamasur steals the holy Vedas from Lord Brahma's abode. While the gods start turning weak, Lord Brahma reveals that only a woman who has not blinked for years can put an end to Durgamasur.

Lord Brahma and the other gods are impressed with King Divodasa's dedication and humility during the test. Unable to find any flaws, Lord Brahma decides to conduct a yajna in Kashi. Meanwhile, Durgamasur and his army attack the gods in heaven.

Goddess Parvati's words and the divine vibes of Kashi convince the Yogini goddesses to reside there instead of attacking it. Later, Lord Brahma comes to the aid of the gods and poses as a Brahmin to put King Divodasa through a difficult test.

Unable to find any fault with King Divodasa and Kashi, Surya disintegrates himself into twelve parts and makes the city his abode. Indra orders a few gods to take the Yogini goddesses' help to facilitate Lord Shiva's entry into Kashi.

An infuriated Lord Shiva is about to open his third eye and burn Indra to ashes for attacking the holy city of Kashi and King Divodasa. While Indra trembles with fear, Lord Ganesha, Kartikeya and other gods pray to Lord Shiva to calm him down.

As a part of his plan to facilitate Lord Shiva's entry into Kashi, Indra sends two of his most beautiful apsaras to entice King Divodasa. When his plan fails, Indra resorts to violence. King Divodasa then prays to Lord Shiva for the safety of Kashi.

Maha Ganesh appears before Gyanari in heaven and grants him salvation. Meanwhile, Subodh expresses his gratitude to Lord Ganesh and Kartikeya for guiding him through the difficult phase and helping his father's spirit.

Subodh cries as Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya narrate the punishments that Gyanari is being subjected to. Meanwhile, Gyanari manages to clear the initial phases of his punishment.

Yamraj's messengers inform Lord Ganesha that if Gyanari's good karma prevails by the end of the torturous cleansing process, he will attain a position in the heaven. However, Gyanari's sufferings reach an unbearable level.

After entering a new body, Gyanari's spirit is elated but his joy is short-lived as Yamraj's messengers begin to torture him as a punishment for the sins of his past life. Seeing Gyanari's spirit in pain, Lord Ganesha gets worried about him.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya inform Gyanari's spirit that they need to visit Gaya for his salvation. After reaching Gaya, they find out the significance of the 'Shradh' ritual.

Goddess Parvati reveals that ever since Lord Shiva departed from Kashi, all other gods also left, leaving her alone. She advises Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya to take Gyanari's spirit to Gaya for his salvation and narrates the story of Gayasura.

Lord Ganesha prevents Kartikeya from punishing the King of Kashi for barring Lord Shiva from entering the city. Later, Goddess Parvati asks them to consider both sides of the story and narrates a past incident which led to the decision.

After narrating the story of the Pishachmochan ghat, Ganga asks Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya to visit it to free Gyanari's spirit. Midway, the brothers hear Parvati sobbing and learn about the shocking decision made by the King of Kashi.

While proceeding towards the river Ganga, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya are in a fix as an agitated Kalbhairav attacks Gyanari's spirit. Eventually, they are allowed, but soon the river Ganga turns ferocious and refuses to let Gyanari's spirit step in.

While narrating the significance of the Kashi Vishwanath temple to Lord Ganesha, Kartikeya reveals that Lord Shiva and Parvati reside there in a different form. Later, a sage advises them to take Gyanari's spirit to the river Ganga for his salvation.

Goddess Varahi, the protector of Kashi, starts fuming with rage and refuses to let Gyanari's spirit enter the city. To calm her down, Lord Ganesha chants her mantra while Subodh, Mushakji and Kartikeya pray with folded hands.

After narrating the story of Kashi, which is dear to Lord Shiva, Kartikeya plans to visit the city with Lord Ganesha to help Gyanari's spirit attain salvation. They also decide to call Subodh to the city to help them accomplish the task.

Lord Ganesha is taken aback after the unknown force reveals that it is the spirit of Gyanari, an asura whom he had killed in the past. Later, Kartikeya comes up with a solution to help Gyanari's trapped spirit.

Mushakji gets scared after Lord Ganesha narrates a horror story to him. Soon, both fall asleep, unaware that they are under a threat from an unknown force. Later, Mushakji finds himself in trouble after he gets attacked while drinking water.

Lord Ganesha is curious about how the strands of the Durva grass eased his pain while all other remedial measures did not work. Parvati then narrates the story of an ordinary Brahmin girl named Durva, and her devotion towards Lord Ganesha.

All the gods try several remedial measures to help ease Lord Ganesha's pain but manage to provide only a short-term relief. When Goddess Parvati reaches the venue, everyone fears her wrath. However, she comes up with a solution instead.

After swallowing Arnalasur, Lord Ganesha feels severe pain in his stomach caused by the immense body heat. This happens as Arnalasur's body is made of lava. Due to the unbearable pain, Lord Ganesha continues to scream while the gods feel helpless.

After Gyanari's death, Dakini's sworn brother Arnalasur battles with Lord Ganesha. Despite getting killed, Arnalasur comes back to life. At Kailash, Lord Shiva reveals to other gods that Arnalasur is the love child of Yamraj, the god of death.

Lord Ganesha appears in the form of 'Mahodar' and ensures that Subodh does not get killed by Gyanari. However, he is not aware of a bigger threat that is looming large on him and the other gods.

Despite Gyanari's torture, Subodh refuses to give up on his devotion towards Lord Ganesha. When Gyanari tries to kill Subodh, Dakini intervenes and saves his life. She later tries to convince her son to stop worshipping Lord Ganesha.

On Gyanari's orders, his soldiers try to capture Kartikeya but in vain. After his escape, Gyanari simmers with anger and decides to punish Subodh for his devotion towards Lord Ganesha.

Kartikeya starts grooming Subodh, which brings about a positive change in the latter's behaviour. He later introduces Subodh to a path towards the worship of Lord Ganesha.

Lord Ganesha comes up with a plan to establish peace between the Gods and the asuras through Gyanari's son, Subodh. On his advice, Kartikeya agrees to become Subodh's guru. Later, Lord Ganesha helps Kartikeya enter Subodh's life.

Everyone at Kailash embraces Bhom as a part of their family. Parvati renames him as Mangal while Shiva grants him a boon to be a planet located close to Earth. Meanwhile, after the birth of Subodh, Gyanari plans to attack Lord Ganesha.

After preventing a duel, Lord Ganesha assimilates his other form into himself and sees through his spiritual vision that Bhom was born after a droplet of Lord Shiva's sweat fell on the Earth. He then invites Bhom to Kailash to give him his rights.

Lord Ganesha does not assimilate his other form into himself as he plans to find the source of his uncontrollable anger. When Mushakji comes to their aid, he gets confused seeing two Lord Ganeshas. Eventually, they locate Bhom.

Before dying at the hands of Lord Ganesha, Durbidhi predicts an endless war. While Lord Ganesha tries to figure out the reason behind his own uncontrollable anger, Brahma tries to calm him. However, Lord Ganesha tries to swallow him instead.

A couple of Lord Ganesha's devotees feel disheartened after their worship ritual gets ruined due to Durbudhi. However, Lord Ganesha cheers the couple by appearing before them and battles with Durbudhi by creating a clone of himself.

Goddess Earth is concerned about Bhom's growing jealousy towards Lord Ganesha. On the other hand, Shukracharya is intrigued when he witnesses a hedgehog killing a lion. The hedgehog turns out to be an asura named Durbudhi.

All the gods get worried as they get no response from Lord Ganesha despite their fervent prayers. After they offer the Durva grass to him, he calms down and follows Parvati's advice to forgive Chandra. This marks the beginning of Sankashti Chaturthi.

All the gods and goddesses, including Chandra's wife Rohini, sculpt an idol of Lord Ganesha using mud to worship him so that he forgives Chandra. Meanwhile, chaos ensues in the universe due to excessive heat in Chandra's absence.

Goddess Earth is worried about the consequences of Bhom's aggressive penance. Meanwhile, the gods in heaven refuse to help Chandra because Lord Ganesha has cursed him that anyone who sees him would become disgraceful.

After interacting with a few sages, Ganesh leaves their hermitage and enters a dense forest; while on his way home, he comes across shape shifting serpents; the serpents attack Ganesh, leaving him no choice but to defend himself.

Chandra watches Lord Ganesha ride Mushakji and pokes fun at him after he falls off. Suddenly, Lord Ganesha screams and falls unconscious as his stomach tears apart. Meanwhile, Goddess Parvati finds out about the disturbing prediction from Yamraj.

Fearing Parvati's wrath, Yamraj finds it difficult to convey the disturbing prediction about Lord Ganesha to her. Later, Lord Ganesha consumes too many sweets and goes for a walk around Kailash with Kartikeya.

As soon as Bhom arrives at Kailash, Nandi misbehaves with him as he refuses to believe that he is Lord Shiva's son. On the other hand, amid celebrations, Lord Ganesha turns aggressive while dancing, which surprises everyone.

Amid Vinayak Chaturthi celebrations, Lord Ganesha unexpectedly starts talking rudely. On the other hand, when Bhom insists on visiting Kailash to meet his long-lost father, Lord Shiva, Goddess Earth tries to dissuade him.

Kailash is abuzz with preparations on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi and all the gods have been invited to the celebrations. In an atmosphere filled with happiness, Yamraj comes across a disturbing prediction about Lord Ganesha's well-being.

After Lord Ganesha channelizes his inner female, Goddess Vinayaki appears to help the goddesses defeat Shumbh. All the goddesses then join forces and eventually kill Shumbh, after which all the gods sing their praises.

After boasting that he will put an end to the goddesses' maya, Shumbh proceeds to attack them. Goddess Kaushiki then uses a unique battle technique to tackle the attacks from Shumbh which leaves him in a state of disbelief.

All the newly appeared goddesses wreak havoc on the army of asuras while Goddess Kaushiki tries to warn Shumbh but in vain. Despite seeing the body parts of his army flying towards him, Shumbh pokes fun at Goddess Kaushiki and battles with her.

After Shumbh and Nishumbh's army of asuras tortures the villagers, Goddess Kaushiki hints at Lord Ganesha who advises all the gods to channelize their inner female which causes several goddesses to appear.

After Shumbh and Nishumbh mock the goddesses by calling them docile and meek, Goddess Kaushiki displays her wisdom and successfully tackles all their attacks while the rest of the gods witness the battle.

Shumbh and Nishumbh proceed to attack Goddess Kaushiki despite the warning signs from her. After finishing off his army, she summons Goddess Chandmari and Goddess Kali to demonstrate the power of a woman to both the asuras.

Lord Shiva lies down in the path of Goddess Kali, after which she puts her foot on his chest. After she apologizes for her mistake, he explains her the dynamics of their relationship. While all the gods sing her praises, Shumbh plots his revenge.

Goddess Kali fumes with anger because of her growing thirst for blood and proceeds to attack Lord Ganesha. However, Kartikeya saves him in the nick of time. Later, Lord Ganesha offers a solution to the gods to protect them from Goddess Kali's wrath.

Goddess Kali consumes Raktabeej's blood to defeat him and stays careful that not even a drop falls on the ground. However, trouble arises when her thirst for blood continues to increase due to anger.

Raktabeej engages in a duel with Goddess Kali after she refuses to let him battle with Goddess Kaushiki. After each attack, several droplets of his blood splatter all over, giving rise to his innumerable clones.

After Goddess Kali beheads Chand and Mund, Goddess Kaushiki gives her the name Chamunda. Meanwhile, Shumbh and Nishumbh are agitated by this news and plan to send Raktabeej to avenge the defeat.

After Ruru's death, Chand and Mund order their army of asuras to attack Goddess Kali, Goddess Chandmari and Goddess Kaushiki. Goddess Kali then challenges Chand and Mund to battle with her while Goddess Chandmari attacks the asuras' army.

Though Ruru is aware of Goddess Kali's powers, he agrees to battle with her for Chand and Mund. The asuras and the gods watch in awe as Goddess Kali defeats Ruru and kills him.

To counter Chand and Mund as well as other asuras, Goddess Kaushiki pits her army of ghosts and spirits against them. They are surprised as she laughs when her army is being tortured by them. Soon, Goddess Kali appears and battles with the asuras.

After Dhumralochan's death, Shumbh refuses to bow down to Goddess Kaushiki and plans to tame her instead. He asks Chand and Mund to capture her and present her before him.

Dhumra Lochan negotiates with Maa Parvati about her marriage to Asur Samrat Sumbh; Maa Parvati makes jokes with his proposition; Ganesh takes Indra Dev to a safe location.

Residing in the caves of Vindhyachal, Goddess Kaushiki, an avatar of Goddess Parvati, receives Shumbh's marriage proposal from Dhumralochan. She then asks him to convey to Shumbh that she will accept his proposal if he defeats her in a battle.

While Kartikeya takes Indra and Vaayu along to a safe place, Dhumralochan follows them on Shumbh's orders. Lord Ganesha then takes him along to Vindhyachal to keep him away from the hideout of the gods.

The divine vibes arising out of Markandeya's chant of Goddess's mantras incapacitates the army of asuras amid their fight against the asuras. Later, a couple of asuras inform Shumbh about the effect of the mantras.

All the gods are relieved after Lord Ganesha manages to keep the army of asuras away from them. Meanwhile, Kartikeya plays the battlefield and showers the asuras with his arrows. However, Shumbh continues to torture Indra and Vaayu in captivity.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya help the gods against Shumbh and his army of asuras. After an intense battle, they take the gods along for their safety. However, the army of asuras attacks them again.

Confined to a room, Indra's wife Sachi and other goddesses pray to Goddess Parvati to protect themselves from Shumbh and his asuras. The necklace on Goddess Parvati's idol breaks and each pearl turns huge to crush the asuras.

When Indra's wife Sachi warns Shumbh and other asuras about the powers of the goddesses by reminding them of Mahishasura's death. She claims that Shumbh won't be able to imprison her or other goddesses of heaven.

Kartikeya and Mushakji feel overwhelmed when they see Lord Ganesha in his female form Vinayaki. Meanwhile, Shumbh takes over the throne of heaven after defeating all the gods.

Lord Ganesha's female avatar Goddess Vinayaki struggles to walk wearing a sari and manages to enter the cave to meet Goddess Parvati. Later, Goddess Parvati feeds her modaks while the gods struggle in their battle against the asuras.

Goddess Parvati is involved in a task which requires her to stay away from the males. Hence, Lord Ganesha is required to channelize his inner female power and take the form of Goddess Vinayaki to meet her. Meanwhile, the asuras attack the gods.

Irked by his defeat, Shumbh asks Shukracharya for advice to get back at the gods. Meanwhile, Kartikeya and Lord Ganesha miss Goddess Parvati and set out to look for her. Lord Ganesha decides to fast until she is found.

Despite losing everything to Lord Ganesha, the asuras refuse to return the gods' properties to them. Lord Ganesha appears in his humongous Panchmukhi avatar to protect the gods from the attacks of the asuras.

As the gamble between the Gods and Asurs gets more complicated, Ganesh takes over to save the match; with little help from his pet mouse, Ganesh exposes Asur King's deceit and wins over!

After Shumbh mocks Indra for losing his throne in a bet, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya appear and announce that the game is not over yet. Lord Ganesha then offers to play a game with Shumbh but puts forth a tricky condition before him.

Despite losing several of his divine properties, Indra continues to play with Shumbh. Meanwhile, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya get worried about the outcome of the game and later try to warn the gods.

After winning over some jewels from the asuras, Indra and other gods are lured into continuing the game. However, all the gods are shocked after Indra puts his elephant Airavat at stake and loses it to Shumbh in the later part of the game.

The asuras serve meals to Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya to keep them away from Indra and other gods. Meanwhile, the asuras play a game with the gods using magical dice.

Unaware of Sage Shukracharya's sinister plan to trick the gods, Indra continues to enjoy the performances of the asura women in Shumbh's durbar. Suddenly, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya arrive there, which makes Sage Shukracharya worried.

Markandeya asks Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya to stop Indra from attending Shumbh's event. However, Lord Ganesha chooses to let Indra and other gods suffer the consequences of making such a decision.

Lord Ganesha narrates how Chand-Mund, Shumbh-Nishumbh, Raktabeej and Dhumralochan turned powerful and joined forces against the gods. Later, Indra is in a dilemma when Shumbh sends a few women as his messengers to invite the gods to an event.

After attaining the leadership of the asuras, Shumbh appoints Nishumbh, Raktabeej, Chand-Mund and Dhumralochan as his commanders. Meanwhile, Lord Ganesha summons Indra to warn him of the possibilities of a war.

Shukracharya narrates to all the asuras how Shumbh and Nishumbh swore vengeance after the death of their brother Namoochi at the hands of Indra. He reveals that the duo prayed to Lord Brahma and acquired a boon from him.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya get worried about the future of the universe and the gods after Shumbh wins the competition and becomes the leader of the asuras.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya discuss the chances of Raktabeej, Chand-Mund and Dhumralochan at winning the crown of the leader of asuras. Suddenly, a new competitor pair of Shumbh-Nishumbh arrives there to challenge them.

Various asuras battle with each other to win the competition supervised by Shukracharya while Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya discreetly watch them.

Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya conveniently keep an eye on the asuras as they shrink themselves in size. They carefully listen to Shukracharya when he addresses the group of asuras.

Shocked by the sudden disappearance of Goddess Kali, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya follow some clues which lead them to a huge army of asuras marching vigorously.

Lord Ganesha and other gods learn that Goddess Kali and Mahakal perform 'tandav' for the destruction of the universe so that it can be recreated from ground zero. Lord Ganesha feels indebted to her for patiently narrating all the stories to him.

While speaking about a couple of avatars named Goddess Kamala and Goddess Matangi, Goddess Kali reveals that she is the ultimate source of power and all the gods are a part of her.

Goddess Kali narrates how Goddess Bagalamukhi used various spells on Trikura to make him go crazy. She adds that Goddess Bagalamukhi felt bad for Trikura but eventually killed him.

Continuing the story, Goddess Kali reveals that Goddess Bagalamukhi used a spell on Trikura to distort his thought process, due to which he behaves strangely before his courtiers.

Goddess Kali narrates how Goddess Baglamukhi appeared to protect the universe from Trikura and used hypnosis on him to put an end to the destruction caused by him.

Goddess Kali continues with the story and reveals that even Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma struggled against Trikura. She adds that Lord Vishnu's most efficient weapon Sudarshan Chakra also failed to stop Trikura.

Goddess Kali reveals that Trikura wreaked havoc on all the gods by misusing his powers and he later planned to subdue Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva.

After mentioning an avatar named Goddess Bagalamukhi, Goddess Kali narrates how a ferocious asura Trikura managed to please Lord Brahma in the past to acquire a boon which made him invincible.

Goddess Kali continues to narrate how Goddess Parvati ended up consuming Lord Shiva in the past, which eventually gave rise to her new avatar called Dhumavati.

Goddess Kali narrates how Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati united and appeared in the form of 'Ardhanarishwara' to protect Markandeya from Yamraj. She later narrates the story of another avatar of Goddess Parvati to Lord Ganesha and other gods.

Goddess Kali narrates how Goddess Bhairavi came into existence and her role in establishing a post-death system. She also reveals how Surya and his wife Sandhya were related to the appointment of the god of death.

Goddess Kali narrates how Goddess Chinnamasta beheaded Ekaksh and the Yogini goddesses consumed his blood. She reveals that Goddess Chinnamasta offered her own blood to the Yogini goddesses to quench their thirst.
